So, I'm here to gather 7 members.
Inspire is a student-initiated project aimed at raising funds for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, which provides financial support for schoolchildren from underprivileged families. Inspire also seeks to heighten public awareness of the plight of financially challenged schoolchildren in Singapore. So far, for the past 5 years, Inspire has raised $270,000 for SPMF. This year, Inspire '09 aims to raise $1,000,000 for the SPMF as well as provide free peer tutoring for financially challenged school children. This is done through engaging 100 teams across Singapore schools, with 1 team per school. Each team will aim to raise $12 000 each, $10 000 through Inspire's core fund-raising events- Run, Concerts, Street Sales and Charity Drive. The other $2000 will come from the team’s own creative ideas. Each team consists of 8 members who form the School Team Level Coordinators. A School Team Leader, a Charity Drive Liason, a Concert Ticketing Officer, a Run Registration Officer, a Street Sales Volunteer Officer, a Tuition Coordinator, a Project Organiser, and a Treasurer. So.. Is anyone interested? (:
